An 8-day program you will experience the highlights of the Galapagos Islands, you can choose hotels class according to your requirements. Swim alongside colorful fishes, sea urchins and starfish while snorkeling. You might even spot some sharks! The volcanic islands are also home to the Giant Tortoises. See these amazing reptiles as well as other creatures, including blue-footed boobies, Galapagos sea lions, penguins, marine iguanas and frigate birds in their natural habitat. The highlights of this program are: San Cristobal, Santa Cruz, Isabela, Española, an uninhabited island. Note: Itinerary is subject to change


  • Daily visits with a Guide certified by the National Park – we use local guides on each island, and you are also assisted by our operation staff on each island (English speaking)

  • INGALA Migration card $20** to be paid in cash in Quito or Guayaquil airport (Consejo de Gobierno counter, easy to spot in the airport. There you will also have to register your personal details before you go to the check-in counter of your airline)

San Cristobal Island/ Airport Transfer + Tijeretas
& Carola Beach

You will be picked-up at the airport by your private certified guide and he will take you to the hotel. After your lunch with the guide you will visit the Interpretation Center, where the guide will talk to you about the formation, colonization and actual situation of the islands. Then you will follow the trail to the Frigate bird hill, a viewpoint from which you have a beautiful view over the island. You will be able to snorkel the shallow waters of Tijeretas Bay or Carola beach (according to the tide your guide will take you to the best spot), where you can see sea lions, various tropical fishes, and turtles. Your small hike will finish at Carola beach from where you will go back to the hotel and have the rest of the day freetime for dinner.

Day 1

San Cristobal Island/ Lobos Island

On a 30 min boat ride from the port you arrive on Lobos Island, as it name implies a home to a large sea lion colony. But that’s not the only thing you’ll find while you’ll hike and snorkel at the island on this half day tour. During the hike, you hopefully spot blue footed boobies, marine iguanas and frigate birds, while during snorkeling you can often see the marine iguanas eating, as well as rays and turtles in the sandy bottom that separates Lobos Island from the mainland of San Cristobal. This tour is includes a stop at Playa Ochoa. In the early afternoon you be back at the port and have the rest of the afternoon freetime.
Day 2

Española Island

Departure by boat to Española island. The boat ride takes 1h30 each way approx. At arrival you will disembark at Punta Suarez where you will begin a hike, looking for Nazca and blue footed boobies.. After the hike you will go back on board for lunch and then reach a snorkel spot where those who want can enjoy a snorkel session and look for tropical fishes, rays..back to San Cristobal port in the end of the afternoon. Please note : Albatrosses are not on the island from late December to beginning of April approx. Still you have a lot of wildlife to see). After the tour you have a bit of free time and then you will meet with the whole group for dinner. Meals included: Breakfast and Lunch
Day 3

Isabela Island/ Sierra Negra Volcano

Flight at 7:00 by a small plane from San Cristobal to Isabela Island. Transfer to your hotel. Visit to Sierra Negra Volcano. You walk through spectacular lava landscapes and have views of the northern volcanoes of Isabela and Fernandina. The hike to the Sierra Negra Volcano and Volcano Chico is 16 km long (duration approx. 6 hours), but worth every effort. You see the second largest volcanic crater in the world and explore different vegetation zones. You get a lunch box for the hike.
Day 4

Isabela Island / Cabo Rosa (“Tuneles”) + Speed Boat to Santa Cruz

You go by boat to Cabo Rosa (45 min boat ride), where lava has flowed into the ocean and formed beautiful lava tunnels. There you may see penguins, blue-footed boobies and sea turtles. However the Highlight is snorkeling. You have the chance to see sharks, sea turtles, sea lions, rays, seahorses and many tropical fishes. The tour to Cabo Rosa takes about 5 hours. Meals included: Breakfast and Lunch
Day 5

Santa Cruz Island / El Chato + Garrapatero Beach

CORREGIRYou will be picked-up at the airport by your private certified guide. Then, you will take the public bus to the Itabaca Channel, which you will cross on a ferry. Subsequently you will go with the taxi to a ranch (El Chato) in the highlands to see giant tortoises in free environment. You will continue to Garrapatero Beach where you will have the opportunity to swim. In the evening, you can choose among a lot of restaurants close to the pier for dinner.
Day 6

Uninhabited Island

You will participate in a yacht tour to an uninhabited island. That will either be Santa Fé, Plazas, Bartolomé or Seymour. The destination will depend on availability, weekday and program of the National Park. We will let you know immediately which island is available when you book the tour. On Santa Fé and Plazas you can spot endemic land iguanas. Bartolomé is known for beautiful lava sceneries and on Seymour you can see frigate birds, land iguanas and blue-footed boobies. Meals included: Breakfast and Lunch
Day 7

Santa Cruz Island / Charles Darwin Station + Transfer to the airport

You will visit the Charles Darwin Station that is primarily an international scientific research station situated on the outskirts of Puerto Ayora. You will be taken to its visitor center to learn about the geology, climate, natural history and the conservation of the Galapagos Islands. .Your driver will take you to the Itabaca Channel, which you will cross on a ferry. Your driver will accompany you until the check-in point where your program ends with your return flight to the mainland. Meals included: Breakfast
Day 8
