Departure from the hotel early at 5: 50 am in the morning to board the yacht to Bartolome island including breakfast and lunch on board. At the end transfer back to the hotel. Bartolome Island has the most spectacular scenery around the Archipiélago. Bartolome Island is undoubtedly the most photographed in all the Galapagos. Upon arrival, you have to climb a wooden staircase to the summit to appreciate a spectacular landscape of two beautiful bays and observe fascinating formations of lava and volcanic cones. The biggest attraction of this island is the Pinnacle Rock. This is a huge black lava formation that has eroded over time. It was created as a result of a volcanic eruption and when the fiery lava reached the ocean was cooling forming a striking rock composed of thin layers. Near Pinnacle Rock you can also see two beautiful beaches in a crescent shape. You should walk about 600 mts. to reach the top, volcanic craters and lava tubes during the tour will give you the impression that you are walking on the moon. The hike to the summit takes about 30 to 40 minutes. When you reach the top of Bartolome Island you will have one of the best panoramic views of the Galapagos Islands. From there you can see Santiago Island, North Seymour, Baltra Island, Santa Cruz and Rabida Island Bartolome Island is surrounded by turquoise waters and fine white sand beaches that really add charm to the beautiful scenery. This is the perfect place to observe Galapagos penguins swimming in tropical waters territory. On the beach located in the south of the island you will find Sea Turtles, cast nets, Galapagos sharks and many other unique marine species. Bartolome Island is also the site of mating green sea turtles. They come to the shores of the island to nest during the months of January and March of each year. But what makes unique this spectacular island is the fact that here you can admire divine paradisiacal landscapes and walk on white sandy beaches with striking (and endemic) Galapagos marine animals. Before visiting this island you will make a dry landing from the boat (or rubber raft). The dry landing means that the boat will leave on the ground. But when you visit the beach in Bartolome Island, you will need to make a wet landing. This means that the boat will leave near the shore and you will walk a little in the water to get to the beach. (Something very funny)
